Where is the Walk for Autism taking place?

2023, from 9am-12pm!
How do I register to attend?
Click the Register tab and choose which ticket you would
like. There are free options to attend, as well as options that include paying for
your own Walk for Autism t-shirt! Contact us if you are having trouble deciding
which to choose.
How much is registration?
You can register and attend the Walk for Autism for FREE! Registration
including a Walk for Autism t-shirt is $35. Paid registrants and fundraisers
will receive t-shirts.
How can I get a Walk for Autism t-shirt?
Register yourself or a team, donate or pay the registration
fee, and then attend the Walk for Autism at Central Park Schenectady on
September 23rd. There are a limited number of Walk for Autism shirts
available. Register before August 28th to guarantee your t-shirt You
must attend the Walk for Autism to get your t-shirt! (Fundraising teams and individuals who are out
of the area, contact us to arrange shipping. A $10 shipping fee applies.).
How can I find my team or create a team?
Visit the Participants tab to find an existing team to join. Start a team by visiting the
Fundraiser Sign-Up tab and click the phrase “click here to join”. You will be
redirected to the JoinMe account creation page, where you can make an account,
and view your personal fundraising page. For more on customization, see “Personal
Fundraising” below.
Is there a rain date for the Walk for Autism?
The Walk for Autism is rain or shine! The Resource Fair will
be under the pavilion, offering plenty of shelter should it rain.

How do I personalize my fundraising page?
For the best results, please edit pages on a
laptop/desktop. Log into your JoinMe Account, and make sure you are in the
Walk for Autism Project. Next to the Fundraising Progress meter, click “edit
your personal fundraising page”. Here, you will be able to customize the Progress
text, fundraiser text, add photos, and edit your personal goal. Click “DONE”
to save your changes! Each fundraiser made through JoinMe will raise funds
for Autism Society Greater Hudson Region. Thank you for supporting our
community!
How do I share my personal page?
From your JoinMe project page click “View your page”. Copy
the URL of your fundraising page, this can be shared via email, text, or social
media by pasting it in your message! DO NOT USE “PROMOTE YOUR PAGE”, IT IS
UNDER CONSTRUCTION. If you need help sharing your page, contact us!

How do I join an existing team?
Visit the “participants” tab and click the name of the team you want to join. This will take you to the team's fundraising page. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the text “Join as a member”. Create a new account, or log-in, and then click "join this team". If you are trying to access your team, click cancel, and JoinMe will reroute you to your dashboard.
You can add team members on behalf of someone else, you need their email address and name to create an account. follow the steps above with their information, and then share the login information with your teammates so they can see your team's progress and donate!
How can I recruit team members?
Uniting your team is as easy as sending an email! Follow these steps to send an email with an invite link
to your team members from your account.

Click “email friends and family” and add the teammate email
addresses to your address book. You can then compose an email and send it to your team, or use the template below, insert your page URL, and invite your team!
